Dreadnought guitars

At some point in every luthier’s live, they make a Dreadnought! Without doubt this shape used to be one the most popular designs of steel string guitars. It’s only in recent years that OM sized guitars seemed to have gained in popularity. Here are two Indian rosewood D guitars; they both were built in 2005. The first has a “Martin” feel to its appearance, the second more “Nava”!
There was also 12 string, 12 fret neck maple bodied Dreadnought that I built 1980, which can be seen here.
As a post-script, I would like to state that I no-longer build Dreadnoughts, preferring comparatively smaller bodied guitars.
