Here is my octave mandolin (2016)- this particular version has (at the client's request) a tailpiece for ball end strings.
This is an ongoing project; an archive of the many instruments that I have built over the years. Adrian's Trio
Here is a collection of matching instruments; a tenor mandola, an octave
mandolin and an Irish bouzouki. All three were built for the same musician, the
mandola and OM in 2013 and the ‘zouk in 2014. They all match each other, the
only difference being, that the extra-long ‘zouk’s neck is made from maple
whereas the other two are from sapele. All three have Headway undersaddle
transducers.
